It’s taken a few weeks to get all of the images from our trip to Las Vegas trip edited, but here we go! First on the blog from this year’s destination boudoir trip: an ultra glam Las Vegas hotel boudoir shoot with the gorgeous Ms. C!
I’ve known fellow boudoir photographer Ms. C for a while now – and I absolutely ADORE her. 😉 She is the primary photographer at The Adore Girls studio in Tennessee, and also comes to Vegas with her boss (on the blog tomorrow!) every year. If you’re wondering why we take all these trips to Las Vegas, there’s a giant, annual photography conference on The Strip around February or March. This is my fourth trip to Vegas for this purpose, and I fall more in love with the city each time.
Funny little tidbit I share with everyone – not many boudoir photographers actually take all the classes at the conference! Us boudoir photographers are a bit of a rebellious bunch. 😉 But, it’s a great excuse to meet up with friends and colleagues in Sin City! It’s so much fun to run around the town with friends, catching the sights, dining fabulously, and working with incredible women.
Months ago, as Ms. C, her boss, and I started to plan for the trip, I knew I had to ask if they would shoot with me. I love each of those ladies, and was over the moon to finally have them in front of my camera!
Las Vegas Hotel Boudoir: Shoot Day!
As LaDonna, my amazing hair and makeup artist, started getting Ms. C ready for the shoot, we began unpacking the lingerie I brought for the trip. We decided to start our shoot in a gorgeous sparkly sheer bodysuit from Victoria’s Secret, which I felt had just the perfect amount of sparkle for these ultra glam Vegas hotel boudoir shoots! Moving to the sofa room, we decided upon her own deep green camisole set. It was the most gorgeous emerald, which gave her the most perfect dark and sultry vibes for the lounge’s 70s inspired decor. To end the shoot, I decided to push her way out her comfort zone and went full on dominatrix-inspired! Ms. C was totally game – her personality is incredibly sassy, and she immediately fell into the role. Burlesque style pasties and a crop suit her, don’t they!
Sometimes photographing other photographers can be a bit intimidating, but Ms. C made my job so easy! She is an absolute doll and I loved being able to shoot her finally. Thank you for letting me share, Ms. C!
