“She likes me! She really likes me!”- in my best Sally Field impression. Ms. V flew down all the way from Kansas for her second shoot with me for some Texas boudoir! What a treat!
She Likes Me! She Really Likes Me! | Texas Boudoir
Ms. V originally had her first shoot two and a half years ago as I was leaving Kansas City and moving to Dallas. She was so much fun and we had the best shoot. I loved her dry sense of humor and matter-of-fact attitude. We got along perfectly because of that.
It’s been a while since we had spoken, so when I heard from her about doing a second shoot, I couldn’t contain myself! In emails and on the phone, I’m pretty sure there were more exclamation points and “Eeeek!”s than I can count. She wanted to fly down and have a sexy pampering day just for herself. When Ms. V came in for her shoot, she told me about some major life changes that were happening, and how her fitness routine had changed dramatically, and why it was the perfect time for her to do another shoot. The photos and weekend in Dallas were for no one but herself, because she more than deserved it.
Ms. V’s calm confidence made me even more excited about starting the shoot with her because I could see in her smile that she couldn’t wait to feel sexy. I loved her dark makeup, and vampy lingerie. They complimented her attitude perfectly. She is a B.A.B. (bad ass babe) one hundred percent, and her lingerie showcased that perfectly. I loved getting her in front of my lens for a second time, and seeing the transformation in her. It is so interesting to see the difference in confidence level in the start of the first shoot, versus the start of the second shoot. This time around she was confident in my ability to make her look fantastic, and confident in herself to go all out.
I’m so flattered every time someone wants to fly in from another state to do a shoot with me. It’s an unbelievable compliment and solidifies my purpose, which is shooting boudoir. Ms. V knows the importance in loving herself, and I’m so glad she chose me to join her on that journey!
Thank you Ms. V for letting me share! I better see you again next year!!
