“Wild women are an unexplainable spark of life. They ooze freedom and seek awareness, they belong to nobody but themselves yet give a piece of who they are to everyone they meet. If you have met one, hold on to her, she’ll allow you into her chaos but she’ll also show you her magic.”

Ms. H isn’t a wild woman in the sense that we all think. She isn’t a partier, or a “woo girl”, but moreso wild in spirit and one with nature. While in the makeup chair, Ms. H told LaDonna and I all about trips she’s taken to national parks and her favorite places to hike. She loves the mountains just about anywhere she can find them, but said she fell in love with a little area in Colorado and can’t wait to go back. I can’t blame her on that. I think her soul lives in the mountains, but her family lives in Texas.
When I was going through the lingerie closet I pulled out a lot of natural, flowy things that could be worn with bare feet, and a more boho vibe. I’m glad Ms. H chose the sheer red lace dress to start in, which went along the boho lines, but was really surprised when she said she loved the black Honey Birdette lingerie set with black thigh-highs, and the red bra and panty set. I must say, I’m glad she chose shades of red because it looks incredible with her hair and complexion. It just goes to show, every type of woman can appreciate gorgeous, classic lingerie. My hope with the lingerie she wore is that she will be able to look back at these photos in 30 years and say “Damn, grandma was hot!”, and still love the outfits she chose.
Ms. H had a very quiet confidence about her, and soft demeanor. Her vibes rubbed off on me in the best way and I feel like we had such a great shoot because of it. It was a really fulfilling session, and I loved spending time with her.
Thank you for letting me share Ms. H!
